Natural Connection

Description:

A submission for the LostRelic Gam Jam 2022. Play as a cheeky monkey attempting to escape a stressful city without losing his cool, before Boss Gorilla can sentence him to expected overtime for the weekend.

Status:

Incomplete draft build to ensure submission before the deadline - will try to update later. There is currently no sound or win/loss condition implemented, just a base enemy, platforming, and one boss.

You cannot attack enemies - this is by design, trying to keep it non-violent. The goal is to avoid them. Turn left after the second park - there's an alley near the end of the road on the right. Should have been signposted, ran out of time.

You beat the boss by connecting him to the nature points for long enough to calm him down. There's an animation for this and the gates disappear.
